What is Watch The Skies?
“Watch The Skies” is a large-scale megagame which requires around 40 people to play. Players are grouped into eight different countries and are tasked with navigating international crises such as war and natural disasters… while at the same time dealing with mysterious entities from beyond the stars.
“Watch The Skies” is all about how you interact with the other teams. Make deals and treaties with other nations, or get into armed conflicts using your military & naval units. Will Earth band together in the face of the extraterrestrial threat, or will your nation use the chaos to further its other interests?

The Nations
The majority of players in “Watch The Skies” will belong to a Nation team. Players are sorted into 8 real-world nations, in which they take on 1 of 4 roles:
Head of State
Head of State
The leader and face of your nation. Make deals with other nations and create positive PR by giving interviews to journalists. Control your nation’s agents to discover secrets and further your nation’s clandestine goals.
Foreign Minister
Foreign Minister
Attend the United Nations Security Council and make treaties that will benefit your nation. Will your nation contribute to the betterment of the world in chaos, at the risk of its own prosperity?
Chief of Defence
Chief of Defence
Defend your nation from terrestrial and extraterrestrial threats with the military and naval forces at your command. Go toe-to-toe with other nations in strategic tabletop battles, but remember that every war has its losers.
Chief Scientist
Chief Scientist
Invent groundbreaking technology that will win you and your nation the prestigious Nobel Prize. To accomplish that, you must delve deep into research on a myriad of subjects, perhaps even some that are not a part of this world…
The Aliens

The mysterious alien visitors from beyond our galaxy want something from humanity, but what could it be? Their objective changes from one game to the next.

The Press have a duty to report on all matters of public interest. Gather information via interviews, press conferences, or by simply overhearing a conversation. Who knows, you may just be behind the scoop of the century…
